Kylie Astarte (also known as 'Mistress K' in alternative performance circles) is a bellydance and fusion artist, professional themed event performer, visual artist, and the creative director of the Steampunk Vagabonds professional performance troupe. Hailing from Shellharbour NSW, Kylie brings 27 years of experience in both belly dance fusion, and the creative and performing arts to her workshops and to the stage. She has gained a reputation for her versatility and creativity in the bellydance and fusion communities, and her work with the Steampunk Vagabonds traverses time, space and genres, exploring the worlds and stylisation of steampunk, gothic, carnival, pirates, mermaids, and even Vikings.
