Applications open Monday 11 May 2026 and it’s strictly first in, best dressed — so save the date and be ready to submit quickly to avoid missing out. The Open Stage features a diverse lineup of performers from across Australia, showcasing gothic bellydance, fusion styles, burlesque, and striking prop-based performances.

 

It’s a space for both emerging and established artists to share their work, experiment, and bring bold, atmospheric performances to the stage. If the darker side of dance calls to you, keep an eye out for the application link on 11 May.
